Only children who will be five years of age on or before April 30th of the year they commence Foundation may be enrolled. Birth Certificates, Immunisation and Baptism Certificates (if applicable) are to be presented upon enrolment. We welcome children of other faith traditions to attend Sacred Heart on the understanding that they support the Catholic ethos of the school.
Enrolments for Foundation open in Term 2 and are finalised at the end of Term 3. Enrolments for other year levels are open throughout the year. Sacred Heart holds an Open Day in Term 2 each year for prospective parents and students. This is a great opportunity for families to tour the school and see our facilities.

Foundation Transition Program
Our transition process includes the following steps:
Get To Know Us Sessions
Parents and children of enrolment applications will meet with the Principal for an opportunity to get to know each other and ask any questions during the beginning of Term 3.
Kindergarten/School Visits
Beginning Term 3 our Yr 5s visit kindergartens and kindergarten groups will visit Sacred Heart for an opportunity to interact with them in an environment in which they feel safe and comfortable.
Transition Visits
Beginning Term 4 children have the opportunity to visit Sacred Heart and meet some of the teachers and other students with whom they will be working with once they begin school.
Parent Information Session
A parent information session is conducted during Term 4 each year and provides further information regarding school procedures. 2025 Foundation Information Night Tuesday 12th November 2024 (time to be confirmed).
Orientation Day
The final piece of the transition process is the orientation morning in early December when children will spend time in their classroom with their teacher. 2025 Orientation Day to be confirmed.
